This course has been designed to meet the requirements of STCW section VI/3 and is based on the guidelines of IMO

Course content :

• Theory of fire Fire control aboard ships
• Ship fire fighting organization
• Training of seafarers in fire fighting
• Procedures for fire fighting
• Inspection and servicing of fire appliances and equipment
• Fire fighting process hazards
• First aid
• Fire investigation and reporting
• Case studies
• Review and final assessment
• Duration: 36 hours

Prerequisite :

• Identification card or passport 2 passport size colored photographs
• Basic Safety Training certificate
