Under the STCW Convention and Code, updated proficiency training will be required every 5 years. Our update courses are delivered to all Seafarers and Security Personnel who hold a Basic Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting and Personal Survival Techniques certificate.

Our course modules last up to 1 day and are delivered with a mixture of practical and theory based exercises. Courses give delegates the chance to restore and update their current knowledge and skills.

The basic update course includes:

1 DAY - Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting
1 DAY - Personal Survival Techniques 

If you require any additional update training, we also offer:

1 DAY - Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats (other than fast rescue boats)
1/2 day (self declaration) or 1 day - Advanced Fire Fighting
