Crane Operator - Stage 3

• Follow PTW system, rules, regulations and work procedures applicable to his responsibilities
• Perform all crane operations for the unit including cargo and personnel lifts – inboard and outboard
• Instruct and supervise deck crew for proper lifting techniques and safety aspects related to personnel and cargo lifts
• Maintain and monitor cranes for any malfunctions / visible signs of deterioration, and report accordingly
• Maintain and monitor FROG basket, hoisting gear, hooks, wires, shackles and report accordingly
• Assist Bosun in various maintenance of marine equipment
• Ensure use of approved lifting gear only
• Observe crane lifting capacity limits and weather restrictions.

Requirements:

• Meet the standard of competence of rating as able seafarer deck STCW code II/4-5
• Offshore Crane Operator Stage 3
• 2 years offshore experience as crane operator
• Good English written and spoken
