Catering Superintendent

A Catering Superintendent is required for a leading marine catering management company.

The role will be based from the company's head offices in Romford UK or based in the Netherlands. As well as visiting the vessels the role will have responsibility for assisting other teams within the company, ensuring all staff are trained appropriately and ensuring that all data collected is reported in the appropriate manner.

Recognised culinary qualifications are a must, whilst previous experience of having worked as a chef in a restaurant, hotel or in the maritime industry would be advantageous including having held a training role or responsibility.

Candidates require Level 3 or 4 Food Safety Management and Level 3 HACCP as well as PTTILS, DTTILS or Level 3 Teaching qualification, as well as an adult teaching/coaching course/qualification and candidates must be computer literate. Candidates must be well organised with a good business awareness.
