Safety Officer – Cruise

This role is for a Safety Officer on board a leading cruise line, responsible for ensuring the safety of passengers and crew. You will be the senior deck officer after the Deputy Captain, investigating major incidents and leading a team in maintaining safety and emergency equipment.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the emergency response organization, ensuring trained personnel are in key positions, and maintaining watch-keeping competence when required. You’ll promote a safety culture, integrating health and safety into all planning and decision-making.

Qualifications and experience required:

• Master’s Unlimited (II/2) certificate and previous experience as a Safety Officer.
• Experience on cruise ships with a good understanding of operations and health and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and technical skills are essential.

Previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship.
