Venue Production Manager (Cruise) – Worldwide

The Venue Production Manager oversees the production quality of alternative entertainment venues, assisting in administrative tasks with the Stage & Production Manager. This includes supervising entertainment staff, ensuring smooth operations during rehearsals, events, and performances, and supporting the execution of live shows, theme nights, and A’drivers. The role ensures that all production elements, such as lighting, sound, and equipment, meet quality standards while fostering a positive environment for performers and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage entertainment staff during events, rehearsals, and technical setups.
• Lead rehearsals, technical rehearsals, and strikes in alternative entertainment venues.
• Oversee coordination of show schedules and communicate with relevant departments for event logistics.
• Ensure high-quality sound, lighting, and aesthetics during all performances.
• Report on show quality and provide feedback for performance appraisals.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including updating show reports, liaising with technical teams, and maintaining equipment.
• Respond to guest and crew feedback regarding production quality and address issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in audio/visual, event, or theatrical management (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in entertainment, audio/visual, or theatrical management.
• Proficient in audio/visual systems, lighting, and sound setup.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Previous cruise line experience preferred.

Language Requirements:
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights up to 50 feet. Must be able to participate in emergency drills and life-saving procedures.
