Location: Bridge of Don and Potterton, Aberdeen Office/Workshop, UK
Duration: Full Time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
Start Date: Preferred Immediate Start (to be agreed with the successful candidate)

We is seeking a skilled and proactive Survey Workshop Supervisor to join a valued client in their Aberdeen office and workshop facilities. This role is integral to the survey department, responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and managing survey and positioning equipment, alongside overseeing the workshop’s logistical and operational aspects.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Survey Workshop Supervisor, you will lead a team of engineers, ensuring all survey equipment and workshop operations are maintained at the highest standards. Key responsibilities include:

Primary:

Coordinate a team of workshop engineers, creating schedules to execute the daily workload efficiently.
Oversee testing, maintenance, and preparation of survey equipment following QA/QC procedures.
Produce technical reports, QA/QC procedures, and manuals related to survey equipment.
Manage inventory, inspections, repairs, calibrations, and maintenance compliance for all survey equipment.
Ensure all workshop operations adhere to departmental standards, manufacturer recommendations, and regulatory requirements.

Secondary:

Liaise with suppliers to arrange repairs and handle equipment-related issues.
Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, calibration, and fault resolutions.
Oversee the receipt, offloading, storage, and packing of survey equipment for shipment.
Provide technical assistance to offshore teams and support vessel mobilisations and demobilisations as needed.
Ensure new equipment is properly registered in the Asset Tracking System and contribute to equipment updates and R&D initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience in an onshore workshop environment inspecting, testing, and maintaining survey equipment.
Hands-on experience with the installation and interfacing of survey equipment and sensors.
College/university education or industry training in survey-related electronic engineering.
Ability to read and interpret technical electronic and mechanical drawings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Desirable Skills and Experience:
Experience working in a calibration laboratory.
Completion of manufacturer training courses for survey equipment.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Work Experience Requirements
