Technical Superintendent (Containers) – Permanent – Rotterdam – Competitive package

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable ship management company based in their Rotterdam office in the Netherlands. This is an interesting and challenging position within a small team.

Responsibilities include:
– Responsible for the technical condition of the assigned ships
– Carrying out ship’s inspections, coordinating surveys, repairs/claims with Class/Flag State
– Preparation, organization and execution of ship’s dry-docking
– Preparing and managing the budgets for assigned ships
– Responsible for the correct and cost-effective purchasing of spare parts, stores and services

Experience Required:
– Have a sea-going experience up to minimum of Second Engineer and/or have experience in a similar shore-based position
– Have a good technical knowledge
– Have excellent professional communication and reporting skills
– Have a good knowledge of MS Office applications and modern Planned Maintenance Systems, such as AMOS or ShipNet
– Be fluent in English, both verbal and writing
– Be a team player willing to work in an international environment
