We are currently recruiting for experienced ASSISTANT Electro-Technical Officer ready to join one of the BALEARIA RoRo/Passenger ferries - m/v HEDY LAMARR
Embarkation on HEDY LAMARR - ASAP
Contract 3 months on/off rotation
Salary in Euros/per month worked on board
Required: preferably with ETO CoC ( STCW Reg.III/6 ), must have ETR III/7 CoP , similar experience as assistant ETO on RoRo Passenger ferries, valid certificates including RoPax Cert.V/2, good previous records.

Under the supervision of the ETO the ASS Eto is responsible regarding:

- Electrical equipment in galley and laundry spaces and hotel area.

- Lighting in accommodation, hotel and engine room area.

- Testing fire sensors and manual call points.

- Weekly tests of the batteries and UPSs.

- Maintenance of low voltage distribution boards.

- In charge of proper filling of all documentation (daily,weekly, monthly, annually ).

- Assist ETO in case of elevator issues and any other major problem all around the vessel.
