Navis Consulting are proud to be collaborating with Orion Global Transport in the search for a Technical Superintendent to be based in Paris.

Responsibilities include:

• Promote and embody the company’s mission of providing safe, sustainable, and innovative shipping.
• Manage the technical operation and performance of assigned LNG vessels through external partners, ensuring alignment with company safety, quality, efficiency, and environmental standards.
• Develop, monitor, and control running cost budgets to meet goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Monitor and ensure compliance with statutory, class, and other third-party requirements.
• Supervise and support in managing phases of the dry-docking process from initial planning to completion.
• Ensure that all activities, including those by third parties, comply with set Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards.
• Regularly visit assigned vessels and managers to oversee operations.
• Conduct appraisals of the onboard ship management team and external partners.

Experience Required:

• Experience as a Technical Superintendent or in a similar role.
• BSc/MSc in Marine Engineering or Chief/2Eng Engineer.
• Experience in the LNG shipping industry (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Technical skills related to ship operation and repairs.
• Good command of English (French speaking skills would be advantageous but not essential).
