Operations Engineer

Seaworthy Consulting are looking for an Operations Engineer to manage 2 Barge vessels. This is a is a non seagoing role, however does involve working in ports around the UK and on occasion in Europe (Netherlands and France mostly). Client is looking for someone with strong mechanical and electrical system experience. Usually the vessel picks up 1 job a month and does 6-8 weeks maintenance

Rotation- Flexi 2 days off 3 days or 7 to 8 days work and 5-6 days off depending on the agenda. (You get 5 weeks extra holiday days.)

Working hours- 10-11 hours a day and travel is included within the hours to get to the vessel.

Salary- between £40,000-£45,000 per annum depending on experience.

Certification/Document requirements

AEC 1&2 or higher
As this vessel has projects with the MOD you must have a full British Passport
Must have a valid driving license.
