Marine Electrical Engineer – Gibraltar

Marine Electrical Engineer – Permanent – Gibraltar – £41,600 per annum

Navis Consulting are partnered with a marine electrical engineering supplier in Gibraltar to help find them their next Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing various electrical equipment and systems. The role involves working on all vessels, ranging from day boats to commercial vessels. The company specialise in navigational, solar, inverter and power management systems including complete boat rewires, new equipment installations, fault finding and correction.

Formal Qualifications/Certifications Required:

• Minimum 3+Years experience
• Yachting systems experience is required
• Technical degree or certification in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Electrical Maintenance and Troubleshooting skills
• Strong understanding of AC/DC Systems & Electrical Engineering
• Experience in maintaining electrical equipment
• Experience with “Victron” or “Mastervolt” is advantageous
• Knowledge of electrical regulations and safety procedures
• Ability to work well in a team and individually
• Fluent English – Spanish a bonus
• Clean Driving License

The company are looking for a committed engineer who is willing to relocate to Gibraltar and stay long term. British and EU nationals can be considered.
