Business Manager (Semi Custom Yachts) – Permanent – London (Hybrid) – Excellent package

This is an excellent opportunity to join a global yacht management company in London. The successful candidate should have experience in running a team and in providing services to UHNWIs in the travel, retail or property industries

The Business Manager will take a leading role in creating the new Semi Custom Yachting business, which will operate on a cross-departmental basis including Brokerage, Charter and Yacht Management in the sub-500GT sector of the yachting industry.

Responsibilities include:

• Drafting a medium term (5-year) business plan and annual objectives, to be agreed with the Strategic Board
• Demonstrate leadership and management of the business, working closely with the MD
• Assist in providing world class customer service and delivery of client satisfaction and loyalty
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve brokerage, charter and management services and expand market reach.
• Develop client targeting strategies in conjunction with Marketing and the Central Data Team to identify clients with wealth profiles in excess of EUR 250 million
• Assist in overseeing the brokerage, charter and operational management process, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Develop annual budget and objectives
• Grow the company’s market share in all businesses in the <500GT space on a sustainable and profitable basis

Experience / Qualifications Required:

• Have knowledge of modern sales and marketing techniques with UHNWI clients and high-value assets
• Demonstrated experience in business and financial management, including in a supervisory or management role (departmental management preferable)
• Passion for the yachting industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Experience in negotiating in a competitive environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills and have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Demonstrate commercial acumen and the ability to hit agreed budgets and operational targets
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory aspects of yacht brokerage / charter / management
• Must have experience with developing and executing business plans

You must have the right to work in the UK and ideally live within a 2 hour commute of London. The role is offering an excellent base salary, bonus structure & benefits package.
