Job Overview:
As a Chartering Manager in Dubai, you'll be responsible for managing Time and Voyage Charters, Contracts of Affreightment (COAs), and Period Charters. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of shipping activities, contributing to the overall success of maritime ventures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversee Time and Voyage Charters, negotiating terms and ensuring adherence to agreements.
2. Manage Contracts of Affreightment (COAs), ensuring compliance and optimizing cargo movements.
3. Handle Period Charters, balancing the needs of clients and the company's strategic objectives.
4. Utilize proven project management skills to coordinate and execute shipping operations effectively.
5. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency.
6. Provide expertise in cargo operations, particularly with a focus on grain transportation in larger vessels.
7. Analyze market trends, evaluate risks, and make informed decisions to optimize chartering activities.
Requirements:
- Proven project management experience within the maritime industry.
- Preferably, background or experience in cargo operations, with specific knowledge of grain transportation on larger vessels.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex shipping agreements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- A strategic mindset with the capacity to analyze market dynamics.

Work Experience Requirements
All applicants must have previous experience in working on ships.
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications
Mandatory STCW certificates are required from all applicants.
