Assistant Technical Superintendent – Permanent – Essex – Competitive package

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading marine services company based in Essex covering their London operation. This could suit someone with a couple of years’ experience at sea who is now looking to start a shore based career.

You will be responsible for supporting the technical & operational management of the vessels to ensure maximum availably and minimise down time.

Responsibilities include;

• Support with monitoring all docking and maintenance periods, monitor fleet performance as well as supporting with implementing any changes to class and flag requirements
• Support and contribute to the development of fleet management and new build strategy
• Keep an overview of the availability of the vessels
• Monitor docking and CAPEX projects in compliance with company standards

Experience Required:

• Hold a 2nd engineer or EOOW unlimited license
• Some sailing experience on small craft is preferred
• Knowledge of classification and flag state requirements & certificates
• Hold full clean UK drivers license
