Fleet Manager - Dubai

A exciting opportunity has arisen with one of the Middle East's largest offshore marine operators. They are looking to recruit a Fleet Manager to oversee a team of high quality Technical Superintendents, Technical Coordinators and PMS Coordinators.

This opportunity is for an experienced maritime professional with at least 3 years experience in a senior shore-based technical role overseeing a fleet of offshore support vessels. As Fleet Manager you will report directly to the General Manager and oversee the whole Technical Department.

Within your scope of work you will:

• Lead the overall technical maintenance of the fleet to ensure minimum downtime and to maximise the profit of ongoing projects
• Oversee QHSE implementation and management to actively promote safety awareness at all times
• Review performance information and identify changes needed to improve vessel performance
• Approves maintenance plans and schedules i.e. PMS process
• Oversee financial budgets and plans
• Liasing with internal and external supplliers and divisions to ensure highly efficient working relationships
• Oversee all drydock projects and ensure necessary workforce and equipment is in place to successfully complete the work
• Lead, Develop and Motivate your team to achieve continuous improvement
• Be open to regular travel to support operations and technical projects
• Spoken and written professional fluency in English
