Marine Mechanic (Fleet Repairs) – The Caribbean

Marine Mechanic – Contract – The Caribbean – £20 p/h Ltd

Navis Consulting are looking for Marine Mechanics to help restore storm damaged yachts for our charter client in The Caribbean. The Marine Mechanic should have 3-4 years of experience in all aspects of mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance processes.
Experience Required:

• Detailed knowledge of marine diesel engines and marine generators
• Electrical knowledge of 12 v charging systems and marine systems, including but not limited to lights, pumps, audio systems and outlets
• Good knowledge of marine navigation systems, refrigeration, air conditioning, marine sanitation systems.

The client is offering a competitive hourly rate along with flights, accommodation and work permit visas for any successful candidates. The successful candidates need to be flexible, have experience working away from home for long period of time and able to work in high temperature conditions.
